LA based FX artist Hope DeCanio, graduated from Cinema Makeup School in 2016 and has since been working in the industry full time on projects such as Bright, The Predator, My Apocalyptic Thanksgiving, and Prey. She has had a love of Science Fiction from an early age, and was inspired to pursue a career collaborating with other artists to invent new monsters for film and TV. Hope has extensive training in FX, makeup, fine and digital art, and is well versed in a majority of shop tasks. She uses these skills and flexibility in medium to stay up to date with industry standards, and regularly practices new techniques in order to stay proficient and multifaceted as an artist.
